Yallourn North is a lovely town in the Latrobe Valley, it was originally called the Brown Coal Mine, because it was built on the edge of a mine, called the Brown Coal Mine.  The community here care about their town and share their town with some paranormal entities.

There are places in Yallourn North the locals will more quickly believe is haunted, it doesn’t look old but settlers started making their home in the late 1800s.

Come along to discover the secrets that hide in plain sight on these streets.

Our journey then proceed to what was my favourite part of the tour; a stroll through the alleyways connect Seymour Street with Hotham. (1) It was an overall fascinating and atmospheric night and an experience I would highly recommend to others with a flair for local myth and legend. (1)

Haunted Hills Tours is running a ghost tour in Traralgon on the 30th of October, 2015 at 8pm.

The format is a walking tour of Traralgon, going to public spaces that have a tragic past and there are spirits remaining. It also covers a places we cannot walk too. There are quite a few ghosts hanging around, at some of the oldest buildings and landmarks in towns.

Join us for a guided walking tour back-in-time a chance to experience history, the paranormal and bizarre. Be drawn back with tales from Traralgon and surrounds.

The August, Yallourn North Ghost Tour coincided with super moon. It was incredibly atmospheric, with an intimate crowd, a great night for a walk. Christmas past and present collide at Yallourn North

Haunted Hills Tours is proud to present the first Yallourn North Christmas Lights and History tour, which forms part of Yallourn North’s 12 days of Christmas Festival.

The tour will walk past some of the best dressed and illuminated homes in Yallourn North, and we will be offering up stories of how the former Brown Coal Mine township, and neighbouring Yallourn, celebrated Christmas.

As we meander the local streets, we will also be sharing historical information about the township and its past residents, and share in the spirit of Christmas.The Christmas Festival starts on the 1st of December, and our free tour begins at 9pm on the 10th of December.

Traralgon is a major town in the Latrobe Valley, it was originally called Hobsons Run, because it was owned by a man named Hobson. It is a lively town today, with shopping, bars, food, and paranormal sightings.

It’s a surprise to most that there would be ghosts in Traralgon, however it is a old city with a rich history that has left its residue on the town.

Haunted Hills Tours, is an up and coming Ghost Tour experience in Yallourn North, revealing ghost stories from the Brown Coal Mine and Yallourn Townships.      

Come and join us under the cloak of darkness to hear our tales of the history and the paranormal activity that occurred, way back when, in the townships and the surrounding areas.
The Ghost Whisperer (Tour Guide/Owner) is Tegan Dawson. Tegan Dawson is heading into her final year of university, studying professional communications. She has a passion for the underdog, story telling and a love of history, the strange, and macabre. She has attended many ghost tours. She enjoys telling the stories that we don’t tell. The stories that haunt us.
 We leave from the Lions Park on Reserve St, Yallourn North, Vic 3825 (there are loos there)
